He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Carito; his parents, Joseph Scotchlas and Mary Kalamajka Scotchlas; his son Joseph; and his siblings, Frank, John, Edward, Walter, Josephine Termina and Helen Ritz.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Howard (Thomas) of Rehoboth Beach, DE., Michele Tarchak (Frank), Mayfield and Michael Scotchlas of Crestline, CA.; his grandchildren, Erin Howard (Brian Towers), Sean Howard, Jessica Lester and Nicole Tarchak; and his great grandchildren, Laurali, Brian, Abby, Blaise, Kinsey and Norah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
