The passing of Rita I. (Para) Rupp (Carbondale, Pennsylvania) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Para and Olga Para; her son Jeffrey; and her sisters, Delores McDonnell and Marianne Para.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony Rupp; her children, Kevin (Kathy), Bryan, Mayfield, Douglas (Susan) of Marlton, N. J., Leslie Fortuner (Bob) and Melissa Demianovich (Dan); her grandchildren, Amanda, Katrina, Samantha of James, A. J., Cody, Lindsay, Hannah, Lily Rupp, Bobby, Alison Fortuner and Madalyn Demianovich; and her brother Stanley Para Jr. of Woodstock, GA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Main St, Simpson, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
