Berta L. Chronister Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Berta L. Chronister (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 11, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Gillaugh and Bertie Nailor Gillaugh; her significant other Norman Chronister; her sisters, Francis Jumper, Isabel Lehman, Ann Heberlig and Phoebe Giagnacova; and her stepbrothers, Cletus Lehman and Galen Lehman.
She is survived by: her children, Selicia Chronister, Dormi Chronister Ridgway, Mike Chronister (Ann) and Peel Chronister (Susan); her grandchildren, Bryson (Katherine), Matthew, Michael (Amanda), Keagan and Connor; and her great grandchildren, Kiera, Declan, Delaney, Cade and Aria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Berta's memory to Chapel Pointe, 770 South Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
