The memory of Brenda E. Sodus of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Brenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Glose and Marian Glose (Hossenlopp); and her brother Gordon Glose of Alden, NY.. She is survived by: her husband Jerome J. "Jerry" Sodus; her children, Daniel J. Sodus of Carlisle and Beth Ann Thompson (Charles) of Carlisle; and her grandchildren, Andrew Joseph Thompson of Carlisle and Sarah Elizabeth Thompson of Boston. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (85 Marsh Dr, Carlisle, PA 17015). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's School.
