He was predeceased by: his parent DeSales M. P. "Smitty" Smith. He is survived by: his mother Patricia J. Smith (Roush); his nieces and nephews, Autumn, Gary III, Hannah, Caleb, Levi, Kaitlyn, Emma and Owen; and his friend Irene Jones.
