He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Ragone Clevenger and Thomas Clevenger; his brother-in-law Harold Meschi; his cousins, Andrew Ragone and Charles Tota; and his great-nephew Richard Sutherlin.

He is survived by: his foster child Big; his wife Jeanne Meschi Clevenger; his children, David Clevenger and Elizabeth Clevenger Morgan; his son-in-law Scott Morgan; his grandchildren, Natalie Morgan, Emma Morgan, Dash Clevenger, Will Clevenger and Max Clevenger; his sister Ann Clevenger Mega; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Mega, Robert Meschi (Patricia Ragone Meschi) and Mary Meschi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Autism Speaks, Cleveland Clinic Burkhardt Brain Tumor Center, or Hospice of Central, PA.
