We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, at the age of 80, Dixie L. Grimes of Carlisle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Spitz and Dorothy Spitz (Stum); her husband Ralph E. Grimes; her son Dale L. Cromer; and her siblings, Elmer Porter, Herman Spitz, Robert Spitz, Helen Casey and Mary Linsenbach.

She is survived by: her children, Kimberly A. Snyder (David Stum) of Trenton, TN, Lisa D. Cromer of Carlisle and Billy R. Russell (Leisa) of Carlisle; her brother Roger C. Spitz; and her caregivers, Nichole Henry and Goldie Soler. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
