We are sad to announce that, on May 2, 2026, at the age of 82, Dorothy A. Orris (Carlisle, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ellis and Mary Laughman Williams; her husband Clarence Leroy "Chink" Orris; and her brothers, Harry, Ed, Richard and Jon.
She is survived by: her children, Todd D. Sheller of Leesburg, VA and Jennifer A. Yeater (Douglas); her stepsons, Keith A. Orris (Suzanne) of Haverford, PA and Gary L. Orris (Brenda); her grandchildren, Andrew (Dominique), Will (Katelin) and Destini; her siblings, Rosemary Eurich (Jim) of Carlisle and Donn Williams (Bonnie) of South Carolina; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Williams and Jean Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dottie's name may be made to The Meeting House, Carlisle; or, a charity of your choosing.
