She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar T. Starner and Esta Starner (Dittenhafer); her husband Jacob "Jake" C. Sheely, Jr.; and her siblings, Donald L. Starner, Marlin K. Starner, Gerald O. Starner, Opal M. Reider, Lydia A. Hefflefinger and Isabelle M. Grenoble.
She is survived by: her children, Jacob C. Sheely III (Martha) of Media, David W. Sheely (Christine) of Mechanicsburg and Laura E. Sheely of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Kathryn S. Wheelock (Austin), Jeremy D. Sheely (Angelia) and Dana E. Kirk (Edward); her great grandchildren, Sophie M. Wheelock, Patrick G. Wheelock, Lake S. Willits and Rory J. Kirk; and her sister Loline S.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory (37 E Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Buhrig Funeral and Cremation (37 E Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John's Cemetery (4605 E Trindle Rd, Hampden Township, PA 17050). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Open House (25 E Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055).
