It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna M. Shepler of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Schilling and Augusta Schilling; her sister Donna Draheim of Kelowna, B. C; her husband Harold; her children, Steven (Kimberly) of Cincinnati, Martin (Maria) of Topeka, KS, Robert (Susana) of Carlisle and Joyce Rolar (Joel) of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Grace, Gwendolyn, Rachael, Dannah, Emma and Timothy; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Cyrus and Millie. She was also cherished by grandbabies and a niece and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Care, First United Church of Christ, Carlisle or to Project Share and Community Cares all of Carlisle.

“So sorry to hear of the passing of Edna. We were neighbors of theirs for about 6 years. We really enjoyed talking to Edna and Harold. Edna was so sweet and she always inquired about our then little children and we had a lot of laughs I have fond memories of those times and Ed and I send our condolences to Harold and the children..
