With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth B. Smith of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Butterworth and Mary Elizabeth Butterworth (Lindsay). She is survived by: her husband Brian W. Smith of Mt. Holly Springs; her children, David Smith (Ans Marie) of Herndon, VA and Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Inouye (Travis) of Mechanicsville, MD; her grandchildren, Mason Smith and Lindsay Inouye; and her brother Clarence E. "Ed" Butterworth of Carlisle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Elizabeth to Second Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 528 Garland Drive Carlisle, PA 17013.
