It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Raymond Dailey of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Meshoppen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, we take solace in the memories we hold dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary Raymond may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Archie "Red" Raymond and Mary Dailey (Elsbree); his wife Debra Jean "Deb" Dailey (Byerly) of Carlisle; his children, John Glen Vandermark (Theresa) of Philipsburg, PA and Amanda Louise Vandermark of Belefonte, PA; his granddaughter Flora Rae; and his sister Debra Ann (family: Dawn McCrea, David Byerly, Dianne Hearst, III). He was also cherished by family, Dawn McCrea (Jim) and family, David Byerly (Lorrie) and family.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Middlesex United Methodist Church (118 N Middlesex Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church, Middlesex United Methodist Church.
