He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Knisely, Sr. and Ada Mae Knisely (Lee); and his brothers, William (Bill) and Jackson (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Gail Knisely; his daughter Sarah Merritt (Jeff); his grandson Ian of Carlisle; his son Colin (Maureen); his grandchildren, Graham, Tess, Keira and Colin of Haverford, PA; his great grandchild Tim (Katie); his grandchildren, Carter, Reese and Madelyn of Buffalo, NY; and his sister Effie Howarth of Saylorsburg, PA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, Carlisle or Project Share of Carlisle.
