It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Clippinger of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Clippinger and Blanche Clippinger (Fulton); his daughters, Susan Mae Clippinger and Jody Marie Clippinger; and his siblings, John W. Clippinger, Kenneth E. Clippinger and Kathryn Fenton.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Clippinger (Peterson); his children, Mark Allen Clippinger (Michele) of Kitty Hawk, NC, Judith C. Largent (James, Jr.) of Newville, PA, Cheryl L. Rechtor (Steven) of Carlisle, PA and Jonathan I. Clippinger (Ann) of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; and his brother Harold E. Clippinger of Lewisberry, PA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
