He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Biden and Anna Biden (Reed); his wife Alice M. Biden (Hausknecht); his son James E. Biden, Jr.; and his siblings, Joseph Biden, Marie Jendresak and Elizabeth Barthalow.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Biden of Mechanicsburg; and his daughter-in-law Janet Biden of East Berlin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandsons and 8 nieces and nephews.
