He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Spangler and Irene M. Spangler (Bretz). He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Spangler of Carlisle; his children, Tammy A. Fisher (Steve) of Carlisle and James E. Spangler Jr. (Misty) of Mechanicsburg; his sisters, Judy Crum (Bill) of York and Joan Fry (Denny) of Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Hope Rice (Sam), Chase Fisher, Carson Spangler, Kendra Fisher and Grant Spangler. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
