He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Schade, Sr. and Corrine Olive Senora (Hoke); and his parents-in-law, Paul and Mildred Rummel. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son James Edward; his daughter-in-law Leah; his grandchildren, Rachel Hannah and Benjamin Rummel; his brother Don Belton; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Schade, Dorothy and Warren Daniel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
