With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet M Lay (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), born in Newville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet M Lay to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McGowan and Mary McGowan; her son Dale Lay (Christine); and her sister Mary Kammerer. She is survived by: her husband Harry Lay; her sons, Marc Lay (Jennifer) and Mark Allen (Sheri); her grandchildren, Grant, Megan, Sierra, Ava, Braeden and Elijah; and her great grandchild Judah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Otterbein United Methodist Church (647 Forge Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
