He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius M. Rowles and Violet Rowles (Thomas); his sisters, Mary Smith and Patricia Dry; and his daughter Gretchen Sue Rowles.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Rowles (Weidner); his children, Kathy Swope and Mitchell Rowles of Carlisle; his brother Kenneth Rowles (Jackie) of York; and his grandchildren, Sheena Patel (Jay), Marissa Swope, Jeffrey Swope (Rebecca), Cheyenne Harvill (Samuel), Kayla Winton (Kevin), Mariah Rowles, Trystan Rowles (Alexis) and Braedon Rowles. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
