He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rasmussen and Alta Rasmussen (Shearer); his wife Christine Rasmussen (Ryals); his daughters, Christine Diane Dynarski and Judy Rasmussen; and his brothers, William, Robert, Herbert, James, Henry and Earl Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his children, John H. Rasmussen II, Mindy Rasmussen and Cynthia G. Griggs; and his brother Thomas Rasmussen. He is also survived by many grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
