It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Arthur Silver Jr. of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Sr. Silver and Frances Siedler Silver; his siblings, Robert Silver (Janet), Arthur Silver (Evelyn), William Silver and Bernice Atlas (Leo); and his siblings-in-law, Marion Franco, Stephen Hoodak, Nicholas Hoodak and John Hoodak.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hoodak of Lopez, PA; his children, Joseph A Silver (Katya), Brian (Heather) and Julie; his siblings-in-law, Gordon (Sandy), Gloria, Peggy and Terry; and his grandchildren, Joseph A. Silver IV, Madeline D'Agostino and Anna Silver.
