It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Eakin of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Ashland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walacavage and Margaret Walacavage (Sullivan); and her brother Walter Walacavage. She is survived by: her husband Larry Brooks Eakin; her children, Keith Lawrence Eakin of Carlisle, Kristen Theresa Eakin-Spadea (Jonathan Patrick) of Mechanicsburg, Larissa Ann Bower (Mark Dewey) of Enola and Lauren Michelle Dunkle (Jonathan Peter) of Camp Hill; her grandchildren, Kyla, Aithan, Liam, Lucas, Lilianna, Audrey, Emma, Brynnley and Rocco; her sister Georgeanne Walacavage; and her nephews, Matthew, Ryan, Newfoundland and Nova. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, she also had a love for animals, notably horses and dogs.
