She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Vazquez and Maria D. Vazquez (Gonzalez); and her husband Gonzalo Carpintero. She is survived by: her daughter Maria D. Carpintero Vazquez of Ocala, FL; her grandchildren, Stephanie M. Melendez Carpintero of Chambersburg, Jonathan E. Melendez Carpintero of Laredo, TX and Christian A. Melendez Carpintero of Pittsburgh; her great grandchildren, Joel Melendez, Alanys Lara and Knox Melendez; her sister Zulma M. Vazquez of Utuado; and her sibling's children, Mariely, Zulmary Soler and Egberto De Jesus.
