In the vast expanse of eternity, Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel Mellott and Ethel Mellott (Holtry); her husband Richard L. Kepner; and her son-in-law John O. Negley. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Kepner (Silvia) of Mechanicsburg, Linda Carver (Gary) of Mt. Holly Springs, Patricia Negley of Carlisle and Dwayne Kepner (Deborah) of Carlisle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home (630 S Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Meeting House or to the Carlisle Salvation Army.
