Melvin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Kauffman and Priscilla Kauffman (Stoltzfus); and his siblings, Omar (Betty), Daniel, Jacob, Samuel Kauffman (Mary), Mattie Stoltzfus and Katie Beiler.
He is survived by: his wife Kallie Kauffman; his children, Melvin S. Kauffman, Barbara May and Sandra Kauffman; his stepchildren, Matt Snyder (Bobbi Cushman) and Steph Snyder (Jared Volker); and his siblings, Levi Kauffman (Nancy), John Kauffman (Sandy) and Anna Stoltzfus. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mel's memory to Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church or to the American Cancer Society.
