It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Laura Maurer of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Herman and Arla Herman (Hummel); her children, Dena Gibney and Wayne Maurer; and her sister Joyce Klusman.

She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Maurer; her daughter Debra L. (David Schley); her grandchildren, David Schley, Amanda Barbour, Corey Gibney and Courtney Feaser; her brother Eugene Herman of Milton; and her son-in-law Butch Gibney of New Bloomfield. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy's memory may be sent to Shriner's Hospital.
