We bid farewell to Ovetta Louise Sheaffer of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 16, 2025 at the age of 64. Ovetta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Grimes and Margaret Grimes (Danner); and her niece Bonni Myers. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Sheaffer; her children, Courtney Moose (Shawn) and Jay Sheaffer (Renee); her grandchildren, Kelly Beadon, Rachel Beadon, John Beadon and Hannah Beadon; her great grandchild Theodore Beadon; and her siblings, Christine Stine (Russ), Perry Grimes (Tracy) and George Grimes (Dawn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lighthouse Worldwide International Church (535 Mt Rock Rd, Newville, PA 17241).
