He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Mary E. Meals (Jumper); his grandson Matthew O. Meals; and his wife Margaret C. Meals. He is survived by: his son Owen "Scott" Meals, Jr. (Karen) of Carlisle; his grandson Brady J. Meals of Carlisle; and his close friend Norma Smith.
