Patti Jean Hughes Obituary
We announce the death of Patti Jean Hughes of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 83. Patti will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonas Cassel and Dorothy Cassel (Wissinger). She is survived by: her children, Paul Malinich (Barb) of East Pennsboro and Lisa Cannell (Dan) of Port Clinton, OH; her grandchildren, Katie, Andrew, Josiah and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Weston, Zayden and Adalee; her sister Virginia "Ginny" Laird (Dave) of Media, PA.; and her pet Oscar.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Barnitz Church (23 Church Ln, Carlisle, PA 17015).
