He was predeceased by: his father Paul E. Shover; his former wife Elizabeth Kunkle Shover; his son Scott Shover; and his siblings, Ted Shover, Colleen Bonner and Mary Bell Thimigan.
He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Shover (Dougherty) of Carlisle; his children, Suzanne M. Shover of TopSail, NC, Shane Gilbert of Carlisle and Shawna Scherer (Stephen) of Carlisle; his granddaughters, Elyssa and Jorja Gilbert; and his siblings, Ronald Shover of Carlisle and Linda Seltzer of Mt. Gretna.
