He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ramsey and Ruth Ramsey (Mullen); his stepfather Arthur Mullen; his uncle James Goodyear; and his aunt Elizabeth Mederac.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ramsey (Longenecker); his children, Dawn M. Sheaffer (Robert), Kevin W. Ramsey (Wendy), Thad M. Ramsey and Sandie Ramsey Kincaid (Stephan); and his grandson Dylan Sheaffer.
