He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bailey and Pearl Bailey (Jumper); his siblings, Paul, Joseph, Eugene, James, Harold Bailey, Darlene Bailey, Kathleen Mixell, Esther Noll, Elsie Clement, Dorothy Hosler, Janet Griffie and Velma Burkholder; his grandsons, Troy Bailey and Alex Dowless; his grandson-in-law Donald Gries Jr.; and his son-in-law Darrel Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Murphy of Carlisle, Raymond Bailey Jr. (Shirley) of Newville, Sharon Kristofek (Dominic) of Carlisle, Sheryl Wert (Ron) of Shippensburg and Beth Dowless (Larry) of Carlisle; and his brothers, Ralph Bailey and William Bailey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
