He is survived by: his parents, Sam Barker and Katie Barker; his siblings, Jay and Christy; his grandparents, Betty and Jerry Hilton; his aunts and uncles, Linda Dishner, Robert, Myrl Quillen, Anne Barker, Tom Lerace, Holly and Jim Capobianco; and his cousins, Andrew, Linnea and Colin Capobianco.

“I'm absolutely devastated to hear this news. I was a class below River at the Academy and we had quite a few classes together. I would always see River's drawings and thought they were just outstanding and so cool. We also shared plenty of conversations about our shared music taste. I always admired River's creativity and loved their company. My heart goes out to River's family and loved ones!”
