He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Heberlig Sr. and Ruth Quigley Heberlig; and his wife Joyce Arlene Rynard Heberlig. He is survived by: his siblings, Randol P. of Carlisle, Janet L. Rudolph of Anchorage, Genevieve J. Fitting of Carlisle, Gloria M. Jumper of Carlisle, Joyce H. Edmiston of Enola and Joann H. Cohick of Newville; and his son Gary Heberlig (Susan Heberlig) of Spearfish.
