He is survived by: his wife Judy Brandt Deihl; his children, Todd Deihl (Sheri), Trudy Piper (Mike) and Tricia Frick (Brent Griest); his grandchildren, Becky, Kassidy, Trey, Laurel, Lee, Madison and Brock; and his sister Margaret Darhower. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
