He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Caufman and Sarah Caufman (Thompson); his daughter Candy Lynn Caufman; and his stepson Rick Negley. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Caufman, Jr. of Boiling Springs, Penny L. Deates (Gary) of Newville and Robin A. Varner of New Bloomfield; his stepsons, Randy Negley of Boiling Springs and Dan Negley of Loysville; and his siblings, Earl Caufman, Dave Caufman, John Caufman, Jr., MaryAnn Martin, Madelyn Hill, Gaylea Kelly, Nancy Roof, Linda Jumper and Susan Morda. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
