He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Weiss. He is survived by: his wife Joan Weiss (Sovenski); his siblings, Nancy Yetter (Weiss) and Joseph Weiss; his nieces, Debra Derr (Ron) and Donna Sontag (NJ); and his cousins, Jerry, Cheri Brauer of Hillsdale, MI and Donna Brauer of Montgomery, OH..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, The Purple Heart Foundation or to The Parkinson's Foundation.
