He was predeceased by: his father Harry Benson; his son Charles Emory Kimble; and his brothers, Harry and Ronald Benson. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Andru Starner of Carlisle and Paige Blakesslee of Shippensburg; his great grandchild Emmarie Frock; and his sister Etta Christopher (Jack).
