With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna J. Highlands of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Laverne Saphore and Edith Saphore (Shughart); and her son Dennis L. Kuhn. She is survived by: her sons, Rick E. Kuhn, Michael K. Highlands, James R. Highlands and John E. Highlands; and her sisters, June Kuhn, Doris Clark, Carolyn Smith, Resta Cheng and Joyce Warren.
