Wayne E. Jones Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne E. Jones of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wayne Jones and Jeanette Jones (Lay); his former wife Sabrina Jones (Albright); and his brother Walter Jones. He is survived by: his wife Tambra "Tammy" L. Jones (Sheaffer); his children, Wayne R. Jones of Swansey, NH, Shaun Jones (Ashley) of Newville, Lisa Dupert (Roger) of Newville, Tammy Eshenour (Chris Snyder) of Carlisle and Brandi Jones of Plainfield; his stepchildren, Kayla King (Gideon) of Lititz and Derek Nesbit of Blain; and his siblings, William Jones (Peggy) of Waynesboro, Dan Jones (Diane) of Carlisle, Dave Jones (Laura) of Landisburg and Vonnie Schmohl (Denny) of Carlisle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to the ICU Blanket Ministry, C/O Megan Rinaldo, handmade blankets, skeins of yarn, and monetary donations will be collected at the funeral service or can be mailed to 71 Independence Dr., Shippensburg, PA 17257 or to the Newville Assembly of God.
