He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Andrew Motter and Ruth Romayne Motter; his siblings, Paul Dean Motter and Patricia Jean Motter Beittel; and his grandson Maison Paul Killian.
He is survived by: his wife Tonya Meredith-Motter; his children, Shannon McCombie (Brian), Tedra Shope (Dan Carbaugh), Tara Roache (Chris), Raven Jenks and Colton Meredith-Motter; his brother Galen "Butch" Motter; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Talon, Halee, Alex, Michaela, Jaxson, Collyns, Keyair and Kamryn. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
