She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smiley and Elma Smiley (Shearer); her siblings, Evelyn Kreiser, Norman and Harold Smiley; and her son-in-law Dale Benner.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Bailey (Tina) of Elliottsburg, Kay Benner of Shermans Dale, Donna Smith of Carlisle and Jean Bailey of Carlisle; and her brothers, Donald Smiley of Shermans Dale, Lester "Buster" Smiley of New Bloomfield and John Smiley of Shermans Dale. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
