It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack D. Keener (Carmichaels, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evie Cecil and Edna Blanche Keener (Nedrow); his spouse Jean Marie Watson; and his siblings, Betty Haines, Marlyn Keener, Robert "Buck" Keener and Darrell Keener.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Loomis (Patrick) of Asheville, N. C., Melanie Keener of Uniontown and Leah Bennett (Christopher) of Mapletown; his grandchildren, Ethan Keener, Makenzi Keener, Braden Nicklow, Reese Loomis, Archer Loomis, Devin Bennett and Ainslee Bennett; and his sisters, Freda Scott of Fairmont, Margaret Gotses of Fairmont, W. Va of Mount Morris, Shirley Hartley (Carl) of Mount Morris, Barbara "Pidge" Haines (Tim) of Mount Morris, Carolyn McFarland (Cecil) of Mount Morris and Nina Hayhurst of Morgantown.
The family suggests donations be made to the Mapletown Methodist Church, PO Box 502, Greensboro, Pa. 15338.
