He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse F. Gump, Sr. and Frances L. Copeland Gump Wood. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Smalsky; his son Nicholas Gump; his grandsons, Nicholas, Jr., Shannon and Benjamin Gump; his sisters, Jeanne Songer and Cathy Schloemer; and his sister-in-law Kathy Olszewski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
