Paula Jones Zalar Obituary
We announce the death of Paula Jones Zalar of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 74. Paula will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Dewey and Josephine Osborne (Jankowski); her former husband Arthur B. Jones, II; and her stepson Michael E. Zalar. She is survived by: her husband Jim Zalar; her children, James E. Jones (Lisa) of Carmichaels and Melissa M. Dlugos (Jim) of Windham, Maine; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Zalar, Andrew Zalar, Jackson Zalar, Cara Mai Jones, Matthew J. Dlugos and Sophie E. Dlugos; and her siblings, Gary C. Osborne (Ruth) of Carmichaels, Dennis W. Osborne (Deborah) of Carmichaels, C. James Osborne of Carmichaels and Linda Oros (Bruce) of Washington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and one great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc. (300 S Vine St, Carmichaels, PA 15320). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Matthias Parish (408 PA-88, Carmichaels, PA 15320).
