She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Martin and Doris Day Martin. She is survived by: her children, Edward W. Chess Jr. (Amy) of Carmichaels, Teresa Butler (Peter) of Medina, OH, Mark Chess of Washington, Melissa Rubino (James) of Spotsylvania, VA, Kathy Hillsman (David) of Carmichaels and Kristen Voithofer (Justin) of Carmichaels; her grandchildren, Emily Shope (Andy), Annie Chess, Madison Butler, Leanna Chess, Nathan Chess (Demi), Jimmy Rubino (Kayla), Matthew Rubino, Hannah Rubino, Zachary Hillsman, Carson Hillsman, Megan Voithofer, Avery Voithofer and Parker Voithofer; her sister Letta Scanlon of Greentree; and her sister-in-law Lynne Martin of Prosperity. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
