The passing of Barbara J. McDowell of Carnegie, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 62. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Barbara departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Barbara leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James A. McDowell and Patricia McDowell (Connor). She is survived by : her siblings, Kathy Casiano-Burford (Wayne), Patty Jo McDowell, JoAnne Valentine (William), Diane Cincala (Rudy) and James McDowell; her daughter Ally Wilson (Andre); and her pet Loki. She is also survived by 3 "grandchildren", 3 aunts, numerous cousins, and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heidelberg Fire Hall (456 1st St, Heidelberg, PA 15106).
