He was predeceased by: his parents, Gershon Conklin and Catherine Mihalik Conklin; his son Mark Allen Conklin; and his siblings, Gershon Conklin, Jr., JoAnne Wilson, Robert Conklin, Thomas Conklin and William Conklin.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Madara; his children, Francis D. Conklin, Jr. (Karen Lehman) of Pleasant Gap, Mary Hackenberg (Steve) of Trenton and Nicole Conklin of Coatesville; his stepchildren, Kevin Moore (Carla) of Houston, Kimberly Austin (Chip) of Stafford, Virgina and Kristin Branham (Richard) of Elgin; his granddaughters, Eirian and Kylie; and his siblings, Marshall Conklin and Peggy Cingle.
