He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. George (Frisch); his parents, Albert R. George I and Dorothy E. Gimbel (Wotring); his daughter Lee Ann Hoderman; his sister Joanne Ebert; and his granddaughter Kelly Kareyva.
He is survived by: his children, Albert R. George III (Carol) of Albrightsville, Rena L. George-Beck (Charles) of Fogelsville, Danny M. George (Diane) of Walnutport and Cherie M. Nelson (Steven) of Glen Burnie, MD; and his siblings, Frank Gimbel (Bonnie) of Northampton and Marie Gimbel of Catasauqua. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (4906 PA-309, Schnecksville, PA 18078). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
