Adele M. Wargo Obituary
We announce the death of Adele M. Wargo of Catawissa, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 95. Adele will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giacinto Chelvi and Amabile Chelvi (Dallapiccola); and her husband John M. Wargo of Peter's Church. She is survived by: her children, John M. Wargo (Melanie) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Cindi Dillon (Joseph) of West Nyack, NY; her grandchildren, James Wargo, Victoria Delmage (Joshua), David Wargo (Amanda), Ed Dillon (Maureen) and Kaitlin Dillon; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Hunter, Connor and Elijah Delmage; and her siblings, Irene Youakim, Mabel Kovack, Dorothy Dermont, Mary Rishar, Alma Moll, Melvin Chelvi and Richard Chelvi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
